Q, Are you insured to work in my home?

A, Yes we carry fully comprehensive public liability and employers liability insurance.


Q, Are your staff supplied by an agency?

A, No all of our staff are full time employees of Maid Service Ltd. We never use agency or casual staff


Q, Do you check your workers references?

A, Of course we do, in addition to checking references we also do what is called a CRB ( Criminal Records Bureau) check which is the same security check school teachers have to pass.


Q, Will I always get the same cleaners?

A, We understand that customers prefer to see the same staff and build up a working relationship with them. This is why we will always send you the same people.


Q, Do I need to provide any cleaning equipment or chemicals?

A, No this is not necessary we carry everything that will be needed on our vans, all that we need is access to your property.


Q, Will my cleaning always take place on the same day of the week?

A, Yes your cleaning will always take place on the same day of the week.


Q, Will your staff use harsh cleaning chemicals in my home/office?

A, No most of the cleaning agents that we use can be found on the shelves at your local supermarket.


Q, Can I book your service over the phone?

A, We donít like to book a new customer in over the phone as we feel it is always best practice to meet face to face. This enables us to give you a more accurate quotation in your home, rather than going on the strength of a phone call. It also enables us to brief our staff of your exact requirements.


Q, Do your staff work in accordance with risk assessments and conform to health and safety requirements?

A, Yes all of our staff are fully trained and work in conjunction with our risk assessments which are also updated yearly in line with HSE regulations.


Q, Do you have COSHH safety data sheets for all of your chemicals?

A, Yes we carry all COSHH safety data sheets on our vehicles as standard. We also carry COSHH risk assessments, this way we can ensure if there are any problems with our chemicals they can be resolved swiftly and easily.


Q, How do you monitor the performance of your staff?

A, Our cleaning teams are overseen by a team leader to ensure consistency throughout our service. The management team also do spot checks, this is in addition to being monitored closely by the guild of mastercraftsmen who require us to give out anonymous questionnaires that are then posted back to the guild for inspection.


Q, Will the cleaners go around my furniture when hoovering and dusting?

A, Our staff will always pull out furniture that they can easily manage to move, and clean the area behind it.
